Whether local to the Eastport area or remote, we welcome all members to join us and share in our appreciation of history.
The BHS has monthly meetings that are largely informal and will be in-person, virtual or a combination of both. We like to take summers off, but will continue to work on programming as we have our largest audiences during our many festivals held during the year.
Membership dues are kept low and are meant to cover operating expenses, which we would like to keep as minimal as possible. Our fundraising efforts will go 100% into preserving the Barracks Museum & the Powder House.

The Border Historical Society preserves the unique history of the American and Canadian communities surrounding the Passamaquoddy and Cobscook Bays — and we need your help to keep that work going.
