Our Beginnings

Border Historical Society of Eastport, Maine was founded in 1963 by a group of local history enthusiasts who recognized the need to preserve the rich heritage of our community. Since then, we have grown into an organization that serves as a hub for the preservation of historical research and education regarding Eastport and its community.
